AP Literature students on Wednesday attended a play, “The Piano Lesson,” by August Wilson, in Hartford with their English teacher Deborah Stence. After the play, the students met with the cast to talk about Wilson’s prominence in English Literature and in the world today. From the theater, the students grabbed lunch at Hot Tomato’s Restaurant and discussed the play’s dynamics with hopes of elaborating on the deeper meaning of the play during next class.
