Last year as a freshman, I worked as staff photographer for the newspaper. This year I'm back as a sophomore and am excited to have my work published again. The main reason why I want to be a part of the Hatters' Herald is because I want to pursue a career as an editor and/or journalist. My schedule this year and last year didn't allow me to join the class, but I joined the staff as a club member. I shot a lot of photos to accompany staff writers' stories. This year I plan to not only shoot pictures, but also write the stories that go with them.
