Easily, one of the most anticipated events throughout the school year is DHS’s annual spirit week. This event begins Monday, Sept. 18,  and caps off on Saturday night with the Homecoming dance.

  • Monday: DHS students will display their patriotism in the annual red, white and blue day.
  • Tuesday: students will dress up as their favorite characters for character day. However, no masks will be allowed.
  • Wednesday: each grade will “twin” with each other as the freshman wear pink , sophomores wear purple, juniors wear green and seniors wear black.
  • Thursday: schools will be closed due to the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
  • Friday:  DHS wiil be swarmed in orange and blue  and at 7 p.m. the stands will be fulll as the Hatters watch their varsity football team take on Westhill.
  • Saturday: To end the week, at 7 p.m. the Homecoming dance (with a theme of “To the moon and back”) will take place in the cafeteria.
