Danbury Walks-off New Canaan

Matt Wallin (22) and the Hatters celebrating a walk off victory

The Danbury Hatters spring baseball season has been underway for about a month now, with a variety of state games. The first FCIAC game for the Hatters was played on 4/14 at home vs. the New Canaan Rams.

The game ended in a 3-2 score, with pitcher Jacob Distcher taking the ball and throwing his way to a complete game, another spectacular performance for the senior, who has posted a 1.77 ERA so far this season.

However, the heroic moment of the game was a walk-off bomb, hit into deep left field by senior left fielder Matt Wallin.
