Personally, during quarantine, I have been training and working out alot so I haven’t had time to play many video games. Because of this, I had to ask a few friends for their favorite games to play. The games are in no particular order, as I have not had the chance to play all of them personally.

For me, I have only played three games during quarantine. These games have been FIFA 20, Forza Horizon 4 and Minecraft. For me, the better game of the three is FIFA 20, simply because I love to play soccer and it’s a lot of fun for me. There are different game modes in this game. EA have just recently added game modes such as no rules, mystery ball, king of the hill, and even Volta Football. In the Volta Football game mode, you don’t play normal soccer, it is a game mode where you play street soccer. It has smaller goals and there are no outs on the sides,  the only out is if the ball gets kicked over the fences. There are also only 3 players per team instead of the normal 11 players per team. 

The other game I have played and enjoy a lot is Forza Horizon 4. This is a racing game but it is much more than that. You have the ability to build car festivals from the ground up. You can also buy cars from other players or race them. You can also drive around at high speeds that you wouldn’t be able to do in real life. There are also challenges that randomly appear throughout game play. 

Minecraft is an old game but it is also overlooked. It is a fun game to play when you are bored and have nothing else to do. This is because you can be as creative as you want and build anything you wish. You can also destroy as much of the world as you want. Personally this is my favorite part of the game. When my sister is playing, I like to go into her world and blow up the things she makes, and then leave the world so that she has no proof that I destroyed it.

A close friend of mine, Luis Lopes, gave me his top 5 games to play during quarantine. Again these are in no particular order. His top 5 games are Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Rocket League, Fun Run 3, and GTA V. He enjoys playing Clash of Clans because whether it is building your village or attacking another village, there is always something to do. You can also play this game at any time of the day. 

He likes to play Brawl Stars because it is an online multiplayer game so you can play with you friends and still socialize with them during this time of isolation. It is also good because it is a mobile game so you can play it anywhere you go and at any time. 

His reason for picking Fun Run 3 is that the games on it are under a minute long. This makes each one very quick and exciting. So if you only have a few minutes to spare or you want to take a quick break from all the homework you are getting, Fun Run 3 makes a great game to play in 60 seconds or less. He also picked Rocket League because it mixes his favorite sport, soccer, with cars. In this game, you play soccer games while you drive a car. It is also an online game so you can interact with friends while being safely apart. It is a game that challenges your creativity so it never gets boring. 

Lastly, he put GTA V in his list. This is a game similar to Forza. The difference is that in this game, can walk around as a character and get into any car you want. The game will always have something for you to do. You can break the law in front of the cops and try to run away from them without being caught. You can also drive as recklessly as you want and you will have almost no consequences. The game also has challenges for you to complete, like being a taxi driver for a certain amount of time. This is also a game that is online and multiplayer so you can play with friends and talk to them. You can even race them and other people.

Another friend of mine said he enjoys playing Call of Duty a lot because you always have something to do and can interact with people all over the world. You can also talk to your friends on it and go on missions or fight in battles alongside them. The other game he enjoys is Fortnite because even though it is a somewhat over played game, it is still a fun and exciting game to play. You can play with anyone in the world. You can also play with friends so it is a good way to socialize with the friends you can’t see during these times.
