Journalism has always appealed to me. In my perspective, news reporting is an art worth mastering, and being informed is a huge part of it, which is exactly why I joined the Hatters’ Herald this year. I regret not having done it sooner. Coming from a studious household, some of my interests are reading, drawing, playing tennis, and most important, writing. I find joy in listening to people’s opinions and thoughts — and of course, the truth. I am excited to be part of the newspaper and hope to make a difference not just within the Hatters’ Herald but also in the campus as a whole. In short, I am fascinated by journalism, and I know it can effect change.
