As of recently Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter took matters into her own hands to remove Pitt from her legal name. This interesting news came as a shock to the public as she is only a teenager.

According to insider magazine, shiloh decided to remove the name due to its connection to continuous “abuse history” as well as “violation” to Shilohs rights.

As this decision took a lot of thought, on May 27, her 18th birthday she hired a lawyer and paid for it herself.

As Pitt has just recently become aware of his daughter’s name change, he has released a statement in which it is evident he is upset over the matter. According to Fox News “The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course, not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”

While in the future we can expect more jolie and Pitt feuds, we now know the children want nothing to do with it and are trying their best to stay out of the ex couples troubles.

All in all this subject is controversial, but it shows Shilohs great efforts towards independence, which is something teenagers nowadays are lacking. Society should use Shiloh as a demonstration of how individuals don’t need to rely on their parents for everything and it is ok to branch off to try new things.
