I am 17 years old and a senior at Danbury High School, and this is my first year writing for the Hatters’ Herald! However, I believe I am an experienced writer since I’ve previously been in honors classes. I am originally from New York/New Jersey and have recently moved to Danbury. I am open to meeting and talking to anyone since I like meeting new people and making friends. When it comes to writing, I find it freeing to write about some of the events happening around us. Writing to me is a way to voice your truth and opinions, or bring certain events to light. I am not a part of any sports or clubs since I am new to the school, but I'm open to trying new things and going to new places.
