My name is Benjamin Laham and I am currently in my senior year at Danbury High School. This is my first year affiliated with journalism and the Hatter’s Herald, ergo it is my first year writing. I decided to start due to the fact that I desired a change of pace and setting from the high school career that I was previously accustomed to, and journalism is another outlet to express ideas, which caught my eye. I am very much involved in fine arts, as I have been a pianist since age six and have acquired other musical skills over the course of my musical career, leading to me desiring to study musical composition in college. At Danbury High School, I have been a part of the marching band, jazz bands, orchestra, choir and the theater pit orchestra as well as the Music Honor Society.
