I’m a junior at Danbury High School and this is my first year writing for the Hatters Herald.
I have always gravitated towards writing and literature and it has been the one thing I really excel in at school. I decided to write for the newspaper because I wanted to see if I would be capable of writing in a more professional setting so maybe I can pursue it in college.
I played JV lacrosse freshman year and there hasn’t been a season since then because of our school year getting cut short in the spring.
I’m excited to dive deeper into topics that interest me, find my strong suits, and test myself as a writer.
