I am a senior at Danbury High School and this will be my first year writing for The Hatters' Herald. I wanted to join this class because I have always been infatuated with journalism, as I write for Drive4Five, a blog on the New York Islanders, writing about the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, their AHL affiliate. I also am the Public Address Announcer and Social Media intern for the Danbury Westerners, a summer collegiate baseball team who plays at Rogers Park. I also play hockey here at DHS for the Brookfield-Bethel-Danbury IceCats, a Co-Op hockey team with Brookfield and Bethel. In the spring, I play lacrosse here for the Hatters. When I'm not playing a sport, I broadcast games on HattersTV as the lead play-by-play broadcaster. I love going to sporting events and going to concerts in my free time. This year I will be reporting on the football team and other DHS sports throughout the school year.
