I am a Senior at Danbury High School and I have been writing for the Hatters' Herald for two years now. My family has always had a background in writing. My grandma enjoyed writing and wrote mainly as a hobby. My aunt also is a talented author who has been published in several literary magazines. Therefore, when I told my parents that I love to write, they were not at all surprised. I chose to write for the “Hatters’ Herald” newspaper mainly because I want to dive deeper into my passion for writing. I want to experience and explore my literary skills within the writing world. Also, writing for significant school/community events is exciting to me. I look forward to improving my photography skills as well as I take pictures for stories, slideshows, etc.
